IT Project Manager 2
About the role
We are looking for a results-oriented IT Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, global stakeholders, and external vendors to drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced multinational environment. This position is ideal for a structured and proactive professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and project closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, and track progress against them.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and cost tracking to ensure efficient delivery.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and foster effective collaboration across departments and regions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers.
- Facilitate project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, and executive communication.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and project management best practices.
- Coordinate UAT, deployment activities, and formal project closure, including documentation and lessons learned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience managing IT projects end-to-end.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Experience collaborating with multinational or global stakeholders.
- Experience managing external vendors and third-party providers.
Technical & Project Management Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Experience with requirement management, project planning, and timeline and milestone management.
- Solid skills in resource management, risk and issue management, and dependency management.
- Familiarity with change management, budget and cost tracking, and project governance.
- Experience coordinating UAT, deployment, and project closure activities.
Stakeholder & Leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Sound decision-making and escalation management skills.
- Experience with executive communication and reporting.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization.
Communication
- Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong business presentation and executive reporting skills.
- Cross-cultural communication experience and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and time zones.
Tools
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Miro.
Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum or Agile certification, ITIL, or SAFe are a plus, but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with global or regional IT projects.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience with ERP or CRM implementation.
- Experience with cloud migration or system integration projects.
